32 Viola Street, Garden City

If walls could talk...they would say..."thanks for loving me"...

We have recently been given the honor of listing a home in Garden City.  We list homes all over the city and for all different folk, but this one feels different in a special kind of way.

Could it be because it was built before its time?  This bi-level home was built in 1959.  It has vaulted ceilings, iron railings, a large wrap around balcony on the front of the home, a drive 'down' into double garage, a tar & gravel roof, 2 fireplaces and a walk-out basement.
Sounds kind of forward thinking for Garden City (or Winnipeg for that matter) in that year, doesn't it?

But perhaps it is the owners and how loved this home feels the minute you walk in to it.  This family purchased this home from the original owners in 1969.  That is 46 years ago!!!  A loving marriage grew, children were raised, grand children visited and many special get togethers were hosted to family and friends.

Many seasons came and went - there was lots of fun, love and laughter!

Feeling thankful to have had those special kind of memories made in it, it realizes it is now time to help another family grow.

1173 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms.
Oak kitchen, custom built-in bookshelves and cabinets, vaulted ceilings, wrap around balcony, walk out basement.  Central air conditioning, high efficient furnace, newer windows. GORGEOUS well planned, fenced, 60 x 135' yard.
